Construction Engineering Technology

The Construction Engineering Technology program emphasizes management aspects of the construction industry. Construction management has the final responsibility for planning, scheduling, and constructing projects designed by architects and engineers. Graduates of this program have the option of transferring to a university or college offering a related course of study, thereby leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Engineering Technology.

Upon successful completion of the curriculum, the graduate will earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Construction Engineering Technology.

Construction Engineering Technology

Hinds Community College has signed a partnership with The University of Southern Mississippi to offer junior and senior level courses for a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Technology. The curriculum for Pre-Engineering, Pre-Architecture, General Drafting and Design, or Architectural Drafting and Design is compatible with transfer into the USM program.
