Deferred Payment of Fees
Under the deferred payment plan, full-time students and part-time with 3 or more hours, may pay one fourth of the amount assessed for tuition, room rent, and the meal plan, with the balance being paid in three equal installments. Students with college grants or scholarships may defer only one-fourth of the amount not covered by their grants or scholarships.

One third of the amount deferred must be paid by September 1st, October 1st, and the balance by November 1st for the first semester and by February 1st, March 1st, and April 1st for the second semester. Failure to pay the amount due by the dates stipulated may result in college initiated withdrawal of the student and/or loss of the fee deferral privilege for future registration periods. Students participating in the deferred payment plan must go to the Business Office and sign the necessary papers and pay the first fourth of all fees due.

A deferred payment charge of $25 will be added to the student's account. If the student does not meet the fee payments as specified in the Deferred Payment Agreement, an additional 3-percent interest fee will be added for each late payment. Deferred payment of fees is NOT available during either summer term.

Delinquent Accounts
The college reserves the right to withhold readmission of a student until all delinquent accounts owed to the college have been paid. Transcripts of credits are not issued for students whose accounts are delinquent. Regular student account balances are collected by the Business Office, and if not paid when due, shall constitute a delinquent account.

Students' accounts that are sent to a collection agency for non-payment of fees will incur all costs associated with such action. This includes students who are purged from classes for non-payment of fees.
