24-Hour Crisis Intervention
Family Crisis Services offers a 24 hour crisis hotline for anyone who needs to talk, day or night, seven days a week. Volunteers and staff are ready to listen to anyone who has questions, concerns, or is in crisis. This crisis line is not a replacement for therapeutic needs, but staff and volunteers will offer anyone who calls information on available options for services, referrals to resources, an escort to the hospital/law enforcement if necessary, and a patient and understanding person who will listen if you just need to talk. You may call the crisis line anonymously if desired; they do not have caller ID. The local number is 601-234-9929 or toll-free 1-800-230-9929.
