You can't spend all your time with your head buried in a book, right? That's why Hinds offers our students a wide range of activities. If sports is your thing, having a state championship football team for four consecutive years might interest you. Our Five-Star Phi Theta Kappa honor society would look good on your resume. If you're the dramatic type, a nationally recognized theater department could unleash the actor inside you. Plus intramural sports, art programs and other clubs make Hinds the place to be.

Associated Student Government
The Associated Student Government (ASG) serves the student body by presenting student input through elections, special activities, intramurals, clubs, organizations, local senates, and ASG Committees. Clubs & Organizations
Hinds Community College promotes and provides four student publications and a wide variety of activities and organizations. These groups include religious, social, service, academic and interest orientations to meet student needs. Campus, branch, or center student organizations, managed by students under faculty guidance, afford opportunities for growth in character, citizenship, leadership, and social poise.
