Shawn Garrick, Coach
Shawn Garrick is serving in his second year as the head mens and womens tennis coach at Hinds Community College. He also serves as an assistant football coach and is in charge of the defensive backs.
Garrick comes to Hinds from New Mexico Highlands University, where he spent three seasons. In his time there, Shawn served as assistant defensive line coach, cornerbacks coach, and assistant strength and conditioning coach. The Portland, Oregon native graduated from Wilson High School in 1996. He went on to receive his Associate of Arts degree from Yuba Community College and his Bachelor of Arts degree from New Mexico Highlands University.
Garrick currently lives in Brandon and is engaged to Willow Ray.
