The men's and women's soccer teams at Hinds have been matching each other win-for-win lately, as the men win their third game in a row on Tuesday, defeating Northwest CC, 5-2.

Brandt Sutton of Brandon led the goal charge with two, while Austin Baker of Tupelo, Michael Cooper of Vicksburg and Marcelo Lima of Fortaleza, Brazil added one goal apiece.

Baker added two assists, with Sutton, Austin Cole of Brandon and Rafael Dantas of Fortaleza, Brazil each contributing with an assist of their own.

The victory was the second division win in a row for Hinds.

The Eagles and Lady Eagles will take on Itawamba CC on Thursday in Raymond in a makeup game from last week. Game times are 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
