Brandon’s Brittany Bailey signs with Hinds soccer

03/17/08  Hinds Community College women’s soccer coach Kori Crutchfield announced on Monday that Brittany Bailey of Brandon High School has signed a soccer scholarship for the 2008 season. Bailey starred at BHS as a defender and a central midfielder. 

Bailey is a member of the Mississippi United Club Team and has been a member of an Olympic Development Program (ODP) team. She will be used in the center as either a midfielder or a stopper, according to Crutchfield.

“Brittany is a great player who will win a majority of the 50/50 balls that come her way,” said Crutchfield. “She plays with a strong heart and desire for the game. 

“I am really looking forward to coaching Brittany next year. She will be a great asset to the team because of her willingness to work and win the ball.”
