Hinds track shines in MC Invitational

The Hinds Community College track team competed in the Mississippi College Invitational on Tuesday and received outstanding individual performances from many different Eagles.
Markie Faust of McComb won two events on the day, finishing first in the 100m dash (10.34 seconds) and 200m dash (21.21 seconds). Jamal Moss of Bahamas was the winner of the 400m dash with a time of 48.37.
Michael Weldon of New Albany was the winner of the high jump, clearing six feet, seven inches. Jeff Henderson of Sherwood, Ark. won the long jump event, finishing with a jump of 25 feet, seven inches.
