Three Clinton High softball players
sign to play with Hinds

02/08/08 - Three seniors at Clinton High School have signed scholarships to play softball at Hinds Community College for the 2008-2008 season. Karlie Johnson, Etta Lewis and Terra Stewart were the Lady Arrows inking with Hinds.

Johnson is a second baseman/outfielder, Lewis is a third baseman/outfielder and Stewart is a corner infielder.

"Karlie has very good speed, while Etta is a true five-tool player with lots of pop," said Hinds coach Andy Lee. "Terra is a very strong hitter."

Hinds will open play on Saturday when they take on Bossier Parish Community College. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. in Raymond.
