Bulldogs finding wins hard to come by

2/5/08
The Hinds Community College Bulldogs are finding out that wins have been hard to come by on the hardwood during the 2007-2008 season, and Monday night was no exception. The Bulldogs fell at the hands of Jones County Junior College, 76-68, to move to 3-16 on the season.

Hinds got 18 points from super freshman Armon Higgins of Raymond to lead the charge. Courtney Nelson of Clinton (17 points) and Joshua Harvey of Jackson (16 points) also pitched in for Hinds.

Jones County (8-12) got a big night from Trenton Marshall, as he put in 24 points for the Bobcats.

Hinds will take on Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday. The Bulldogs of Hinds lost by a single point the last time these two teams squared off, and will look to get back on the winning track.

Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.
