Hinds football releases 2008 schedule
05/06/08 -  Hinds Community College head football coach J. Mike Smith has announced his 2008 playing schedule. The nine-game regular season will kick off on Thursday, Aug. 28 in Raymond as Hinds takes on Northeast Community College in a 7 p.m. matchup.

The Eagles will play their next game at home versus Northwest Community College, before traveling to Decatur to take on East Central Community College in their first road contest on Sept. 11.

The Homecoming game at Hinds will take place on Thursday, Sept. 25 when the Eagles play Jones County Junior College at 7:30 p.m. in Raymond.

Hinds will wrap up its 2008 campaign on Thursday, Oct. 23, when they travel to Wesson to play Co-Lin Community College.
