04/16/08 Athletes and staff members from the Hinds Community College athletic department visited the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital on Friday, April 11. The Children's Hospital is located on the campus of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMC) in Jackson.

Hinds was able to bring athletes from the women's basketball, men's and women's soccer teams and track teams to interact with the children who are patients in the hospital.

"This was a great way for our athletes and staff members here at Hinds to be able to give back to those in need," said Hinds women's soccer coach Kori Crutchfield Babb. "I, along with our athletes, got a lot out of it."
