Baseball

Joe G. Moss FieldJoe G. Moss Field serves as the home field for the Hinds Eagles baseball team. In 2006 and 2007, Moss received many improvements, with many more to come in the near future.
The lighting system for Moss Field was built in 1999, along with coaches' offices, press box area and concession stand and bathroom areas. Since that time, the chain link backstop at Moss Field has been replaced with a three-foot high backstop complete with netting, black vinyl fencing along the first and third base lines and brick dugouts with storage rooms at each end.
In 2007, the outfield was completely redone with a full sprinkler system put in, along with the planting of Hybrid Bermuda grass. The home plate area also saw an improvement, as a halo circle was added to protect the outer lining of the home plate circle.
Future improvements at Joe G. Moss Field include the covering of the batting cages, enclosing of the grandstand area with chairback seating and a locker room and new coaches offices on site. The Eagles currently dress in the second floor of Robert T. Mayo Fieldhouse.

Basketball
J.D. Boyd GymJ.D. Boyd Gym in Utica is where the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs of Hinds Community College play their home games. The gym, which was built in 1978, also serves as the home for graduation ceremonies and numerous other events on the Utica campus.
Boyd gym is approximately 52,400 square feet and seats about 3,000 people. The gym has both men's and women's dressing room areas, along with a dressing room for officials.

Football
Joe Renfroe StadiumJoe Renfroe Stadium is the home of the Hinds Community College football team. The stadium is named for Joe Renfroe, who is best known as the former head football coach at Hinds. Renfroe won numerous games and championships, including the 1957 state championship in which the Eagles went undefeated and ran roughshod over their opponents.
The stadium is known around the Mississippi junior college league as one of the toughest places to play for visiting teams.
Renfroe Stadium holds approximately 6,000 people and is usually filled to capacity on Thursday nights. It features a scoreboard with message center and a two-story press box for visiting media and announcing crew.
The lighting system for Renfroe Stadium was constructed in 1996. Renfroe also features a recently renovated track and field area, home of the state champion Eagle track team.
Some amenities of the stadium, in conjunction with the Robert T. Mayo Fieldhouse, include both home and visitor dressing rooms, officials' dressing rooms, training areas and weight facilities.

Golf
Eagle Ridge Golf CourseEagle Ridge Golf Course serves as the Hinds Community College golf headquarters. Eagle Ridge is an 18-hole public golf course, and is known around Mississippi as one of the state's premier public courses.
Eagle Ridge has a fully lighted driving range area, built in 1999, where golfers can hone their skills long into the night. The course also has a clubhouse complete with pro shop and grill, and contains all of the latest equipment in the golfing industry today.
Eagle Ridge is open seven days a week, and is used by golfers both old and young. Golfers have their choice of walking or riding, as cart rentals are available with your round.
The course also serves as a year-round practice facility for the Eagle golf team, with course pro Anthony Price also serving as the head golf coach.

Soccer
Tom Shepherd FieldTom Shepherd Field is the home field for the nationally renowned men's and women's soccer teams at Hinds. The field is named after Tom Shepherd, founder and longtime head coach of the men's soccer program at Hinds Community College.
Tom Shepherd Field has proven to be a nightmare for opponents, as both Hinds teams have won over 80 percent of their games at the field. Shepherd Field has a lighting system that was built in 1999, which allows for night games and practices.
The soccer program received a major upgrade in 2007, as new dugouts were built along the sideline area. This allows the players protection on rainy days and evenings.
A new practice field has also been built directly beside Tom Shepherd Field to allow for more space and the ability to keep the game field in peak condition.

Softball
Rene T. Warren FieldRene T. Warren Field is where the Lady Eagles softball team plays their home events. In 1999, Warren Field was built and named in honor of Rene Warren, longtime athletic director and coach at Hinds.
Warren Field, like many other athletic facilities at Hinds, received a major improvement in 2007 with the addition of covered batting cages. This allows the Lady Eagles to perform hitting drills, rain or shine. The cage is located directly beside the first base dugout.
The Lady Eagles dress on the second floor of Robert T. Mayo Fieldhouse, along with many other Hinds athletic teams.

Tennis

Tennis courtsThe men's and women's tennis teams play their home matches on the Raymond campus, directly beside the soccer and softball fields. The facility contains nine hard courts that are lighted. The lights were put in place in 1999 during the building of the courts.
The courts have been the host of numerous tournaments throughout the years, as the Eagles and Lady Eagles have finished near the top of the state and national rankings on a yearly basis.

Track
Joe Renfroe StadiumThe track facility at Hinds is home to one of the nation's best junior college tracks. The track received a major facelift in 2007 as it was completely renovated after years of wear and tear.
The Hinds track, which circles the football field at Joe Renfore Stadium, is the training ground for the nationally known Hinds Community College track team. The track is complete with a sand pit and long and high jump area next to the bleacher area on the visiting side.

Fieldhouse
Mayo Field House / Wellness ComplexThe Robert T. Mayo Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building was built in 1976 and serves as the main stop for all things Hinds athletics. The 70,202 square foot building has received a number of upgrades throughout the past 30 years, with the most recent addition coming in 2007.
The Mayo building is now the home to the Hinds Community College Wellness Complex, which opened in October 2007. The complex, which is on the bottom floor of Mayo, contains state-of-the-art weight training and cardiovascular equipment, to go along with two full-length basketball courts for intramural and practice purposes.
The first floor also contains the Hinds training room, complete with a head and assistant trainer. It also houses the school pool facility, soccer coaches and track coach's offices, and the dressing room area for the Hinds football team.
The second floor is the home of the Hinds athletic department, which includes physical education staff members, athletic administrators' offices and football coaches offices. The second floor also contains physical education classes and dressing room areas for the Hinds baseball and softball teams.
