Ways To Give
All gifts to the Hinds Community College Development Foundation are tax deductible in accordance with current Internal Revenue Service law. Please complete the Giving Form and mail along with your donation to:  Hinds Community College, Development Foundation, PO Box 1100, Raymond, MS 39154-1100

Gifts of Cash
The simplest way to support the Development Foundation is with an outright donation. Checks should be made payable to the Hinds Community College Development Foundation. The Foundation also accepts Visa and MasterCard. Pledges may be made on an annual, semi-annual or quarterly basis.

Some employers will match charitable gifts, meaning your gifts are worth even more. If your company or firm has a matching gift program, simply enclose the form along with your check.

Gifts of Stock
A gift of appreciated stock generally offers a two-fold saving. First, you may avoid paying any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock. Second, you receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.

Non-Monetary Gifts
The Foundation also accepts gifts of real estate, vehicles, art work and other non-monetary items.

Planned Gifts
Estate gifts can provide significant tax and financial management advantages to certain donors. A planned gift through your will or other instrument will provide long-term assistance to the college, while not affecting your current spendable income.
