Registration
Registration means signing up for classes for a term. Before registering, you must meet all admissions requirement.
Hinds has both Advance Registration and Open Registration available to students at all locations of the College. All students are encouraged to Advance Register to avoid lines and filled classes.

Raymond Campus
Advance Registration occurs in Denton Hall (Student Services Building).
Open registration begins in Denton Hall and ends in the Cafeteria.
Academic and Technical Center
Advance Registration begins in the Counseling Office in Bivens Hall and ends in the Finance Office in Alexander Hall.
Open Registration occurs in Bivens Hall.
Rankin Campus
Advance and Open Registration occurs in the Administration Classroom Building.
Nursing/Allied Health Center
Advance Registration and Open Registration both occur in Anderson Hall.
Utica Campus
Advance Registration and Open Registration both occur in Walter Washington Hall.
Vicksburg Branch
Advance Registration occurs in Room 10 of the Banks Building.
Open Registration also occurs in the Banks Building.
