Online Courses

Online courses are designed for the student who needs an alternative from the traditional classroom. Online courses are a growing national trend, and Mississippi is actively participating with the formation of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC). Hinds participation in the MSVCC gives our students an extensive selection of courses from which to choose to accomplish their educational objectives.

Course Listing
MSVCC Course Listing

Courses taught through the MSVCC are shared throughout the 15 participating community colleges. Hinds makes every attempt to accommodate the individual needs of students. Hinds has instructors who teach in every academic area of the online course offerings. Students who register through Hinds will be required to take a Hinds instructor if the course is active and seats are available. Otherwise, students are allowed to take courses from other participating colleges as long as the course is listed in the Hinds catalog and it is a course that meets department standards for online courses. Counselors will work with students to address course needs.

This sheet will also list your textbook information.
