Types of FastTrack Classes
"Hybrid" class
A hybrid course combines face-to-face instruction with online instruction. This means that some of the course instruction will be done independently online and some of the course instruction will be done in a face-to-face campus class setting. Hybrid classes are sometimes referred to as "Click and Brick" courses because they combine on campus and online instruction.
8-week class
An 8-week term offers an alternative to the standard 16-week college semester. The 8-week term offers the equivalent amount of material and credit in a shortened, more intense period of instruction. Two 8-week terms are offered during each fall and spring semester.
Mini-term
Mini-terms offer an alternative to the standard 16-week college semester. The mini-term offers the equivalent amount of material and credit in a shortened, more intense period of instruction. Mini-terms are offered between semesters.
Weekend class
These classes may meet on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and may meet over the course of a 16-week semester or meet during a more condensed time frame. The number of weekends and number of class meetings will vary. Be sure to check the FastTrack schedule for specific class dates and times.
